Thank you for letting me know, and thank you for being a great professor and teacher all semester!

I really appreciated your approach to the course and to teaching overall. It was always refreshing to get to your class after my others where the professor just reads off a powerpoint for an hour, with no type of communication or collaboration between my classmates. I hope my classmates took notice and got something from the class as I did.

Have a great summer and hopefully I will see you around next year!

A couple of weeks ago, I arrived in the Philippines to begin my two-year service as a Peace Corps Volunteer. One of our first nights here, we had a cultural celebration that included an hour-long dance performance that featured all of the Philippines' important dances. This made me think of DAN 250 and our many discussions around the importance of the history of dance and how it ties into beliefs and cultures. Your class helped me appreciate this performance in the Philippines much more than I think I would have otherwise.
