DO NOT CLICK ON LINKS or OPEN ATTACHMENTS unless you know and trust the sender. Hi Jorge, I hope you are having a nice summer. A couple of weeks ago, I arrived in the Philippines to begin my two-year service as a Peace Corps Volunteer. One of our first nights here, we had a cultural celebration that included an hour-long dance performance that featured all of the Philippines' important dances. This made me think of DAN 250 and our many discussions around the importance of the history of dance and how it ties into beliefs and cultures. Your class helped me appreciate this performance in the Philippines much more than I think I would have otherwise. I wanted to thank you again for a great semester, and let you know how your teaching is impacting your students outside of the classroom! I attached a couple ...

Annia Ibarra<ibarra. annia @gmail.com>   8/19/2024 Morejon, Jorge L      Hi Dr. Morejon! It’s Annia Ibarra! I just really wanted to say thank you for a plethora of things. Thank you for making your class feel like home. The way you genuinely cared for each and every one of your students shines through and fully made me feel seen in times when most didn’t. You always made an attempt to connect with your students, and that doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for taking the time to write my recommendation letters that have gotten me where I am today! (I just attended my orientation for my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at FSU!) You have no idea how much I treasure that you wrote all of those letters for me, even when I kept pestering you about due dates—sorry about that! Thank you for attending my graduation. I sat one row behind you but to your right, and seeing you smile and joyously celebrate everyone’s success put such a smile on my face...
Wed 5/15/2024 9:14 AM Romero, Jia Marie Morejon, Jorge L Please let me know if I need to do anything further. Either way, thank you so much. I appreciate your kindness in taking the time to consider students' individual circumstances and learning styles. The effort you put towards making connections with your class/students gives them an opportunity to learn, rather than just memorize information and be a number on a roster, which allows your genuine desire to teach shine through. You will definitely be a professor I'll remember looking back at my college experience. Enjoy your summer! Thank you, Jia Romero
Wed 5/8/2024 9:17 AM Gabrielle Harris Good morning Professor! I just wanted to say thank you for another great semester! Your classes are always enjoyable, and this one was no different. I look forward to taking another class with you in the future and I hope you have a great summer!   ------------- Wed 5/8/2024 2:31 PM   Greene, Kyle Andrew Morejon, Jorge L    Thank you for letting me know, and thank you for being a great professor and teacher all semester! I really appreciated your approach to the course and to teaching overall. It was always refreshing to get to your class after my others where the professor just reads off a powerpoint for an hour, with no type of communication or collaboration between my classmates. I hope my classmates took notice and got something from the class as I did. Have a great summer and hopefully I will see you around next year! Sincerely, Kyle Greene

Thank you!!!!! -------------------------  Dillon Londin It was an amazing semester; the class was extremely lucky to have you teach us and guide us through the benefits of DMT. Thanks again professor!   All The Best, Dillon Londin  -------------------------------- Sophie Kern   Professor; your insights have inspired me to introspect and consider my aspirations. Your discussion about cynicism towards life deeply resonated with me, as I realized I've sometimes fallen into that mindset, merely going through the motions without truly appreciating life. Now, I'm determined to pursue what truly brings me joy and live a fulfilling life, regardless of others' opi...
